How to play
Solve one card, open the next
A board is a set of analogy cards linked by arrows. The word that answers one card is a word on the next, so you only ever type it once.

Read the card
Every card reads A is to B as C is to D. Work out how the first pair is related, then find the word that does the same for the second.

Spell the answer
Tap letters from the tray to spell it. Some letters are decoys, and a wrong word costs one of your three tries for the board.

Each answer fills in on every card it touches. Solve the cards in any order, and clear them all to take the next step on the trail.

Questions
Is Word Links Journey free?
Yes, it’s free to play. It shows ads between some boards, and has optional in-app purchases: coin packs and the one-time VIP Pack, which turns off the ads between boards for good.
What if I get stuck on a word?
Try another card first: a board can be solved in any order, and every answer you find fills in a word somewhere else. A Hint clears a decoy letter from the tray, and a Reveal places the next letter for you.
What happens if I run out of tries?
Each board gives you three tries. If you run out, you can watch a short video to get all three back and keep going, or restart the board for free.
Does it play offline?
Yes. Every board is already on your device, so you can play without a connection.
Will I lose my progress if I change phones?
Your progress is saved on your device, so it moves to a new phone only with a device backup or transfer. The VIP Pack can always be restored with Settings → Restore purchases.
Who is it for?
Players aged 13 and over who like word puzzles, wordplay and a calm climb.
