Word Arrow Escape Delete Your Data

Word Arrow Escape is a game by Eight Fifteen Labs LLC. There are no accounts in the Game, so there is no account to delete. You can ask us to delete the data linked to your copy of the Game at any time.

How to request deletion

  1. Open Word Arrow Escape and open Settings (the gear button).
  2. Tap Privacy Settings → Request My Data Be Deleted.
  3. Your email app opens a message to privacy@eightfifteenlabs.com that already contains your installation ID. Send it.

We don't collect your name or email address, so the installation ID is the only way we can find the data linked to your copy of the Game. Please request deletion from inside the Game, before you uninstall it.

Already uninstalled? The installation ID was deleted with the Game, and the data that was linked to it can no longer be connected to you by us or by anyone else. It is deleted automatically on the schedule below ("If you don't ask"). If you made a purchase, you can still email privacy@eightfifteenlabs.com with the subject "Delete my data" and your store receipt: our purchase records carry the store's order number, so we can find and delete those.

We confirm by email and complete the request within the time the law requires (usually 30 days in the EEA and UK, 45 days in California).

What is deleted

  • Gameplay analytics (GameAnalytics) linked to your installation ID.
  • Usage statistics (Google Firebase Analytics) linked to your installation ID.
  • In-app purchase records that Unity's purchase service keeps for your installation ID.
  • Our email correspondence with you, once the request is closed.

If you don't ask

Data linked to your installation ID is deleted automatically anyway:

  • Usage statistics (Firebase Analytics): after 2 months.
  • Unity's in-app purchase service logs: after 90 days.
  • Gameplay analytics (GameAnalytics): after up to 12 months (rolling), when it is anonymised or deleted.

What is kept, and for how long

  • Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) are not linked to your installation ID; they are deleted automatically after 90 days.
  • Purchase records held by Apple or Google are kept by them as tax and accounting law requires.
  • Advertising data is held by Google under its own policies. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings and manage it at https://myadcenter.google.com.
  • Your progress, coins and settings are stored only on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the Game.
  • The iCloud copy of your progress (iPhone and iPad, when you are signed in to iCloud) is held by Apple in your own iCloud account. We cannot see or delete it; turning off iCloud for Word Arrow Escape in your device's Settings stops the Game using it.
  • Game Center and Google Play Games (achievements, leaderboard scores and, on Android, the Play Games copy of your progress) are held by Apple and Google in your own account, not by us. Delete your Play Games data for Word Arrow Escape in the Google Play Games app (Settings → Delete Play Games account & data → Delete individual game data) or at https://myaccount.google.com; Game Center data is managed in your Apple Account.
